Tangentially tied to the crypto space. Avid DOGE COIN marauder Elon Musk seems to be in more beef with twitter. Elon agreed to buy the the social media giant for $44 billion. Unsure if Elon has just bitten off more then he can chew, since the announcement of the acquisition the tech pioneer has had much to say about the companies supposed operations.
In the early morning hours of Wednesday @garyblack00 shares a newsweek report that states 49.3% of @potus followers are fake accounts. Elon had some choice words aimed at twitter.
That said SparkToro the company responsible for the claim defines FAKE USERS as…
“accounts that are unreachable and will not see the account’s tweets (either because they’re spam, bots, propaganda, etc. or because they’re no longer active on Twitter).”
When looking at followers of Elon Musks profile when using the same criteria. The SparkTorro tool found that over 70% of Elon’s followers were so called “FAKE USERS”.
